Welcome to the Castaways Bar and Grill where locals come to dine from 11-9 daily and on the weekends are known for their fantastic brunches with mimosas and fantastic food that is known for their “home cooking” and “personal touch”! This restaurant sits on 2.5 acres and has plenty of grassy area on top of their paved parking which enables them to do multiple things from events to storage to you name it. This restaurant has been owned and operated by the same owner for the last decade and is minutes from the local river so locals drop in before and after their day trips enjoying all Florida has to offer. The place has seating for 172 inside and also has some seating outside in the front and in the back. Out back has a covered bar area as well. There is also a party room inside that many local clubs reserve for functions and often times the kitchen will supply a buffet for those reservations. The roof was replaced 4 years ago with a metal roof and will last the test of time and there are 4 A/C’s that are each 5 tons. They have 32 employees that all love where they work from waitstaff to cooks, to managers and dishwashers and they all would like to stay and keep their jobs. They have a SRX Liquor License which enables them to have a full liquor bar to serve their customers along with the homemade hand cooked and prepped entrees and appetizers. The kitchen makes up around 8-900 square feet of the a/c’d interior and the dining and customer area is a little larger than 2,000 square. In the kitchen we have walk-in coolers and a freezer, five deep fryers, a 36” flat top with two burners, a 30” charbroiler, a salamander to melt cheese etc, a salad bar cooler, inventory on hand is equal to about 100k, and about 30k in liquor. They use a Point of Sale System by the name of HARBOR TOUCH with 5 places to enter throughout the restaurant for ease of the employees and traffic.
